Its about that time

I don't know if yall heard but, its alot of good music circulating on these bay area streets. Niggas steppin they shit up out here. People always quick to hate on the next nigga and talk down " you rappin too." How many times have you heard that? Thats because nobody out here is supportive of anybody. Mostly everybody out here is quick to say what you can't do, and even quicker to dis yo shit when you ask them to listen to what you got. And THEN when they like it, they say, " yeah thats nice but, I like so an so better because he on the radio and everybody be slappin they shit." Does that sound familiar? And the fucked up part about it is, usually these are yo own patnas or relatives that are saying this.

But of course when niggas hear the next nigga who don't know you slappin yo shit, they feel hella stupid because everybody but them, is up on game. Niggas gon come the easy way or the hard way. My advice, just do you and watch everyone jump on yo tip ( thats only if you nice, if you hella weak, master yo craft 1st, then convince people that you nice. )And stop giving a fuck about what people got to say to you when you know you nice.

If it sounds like thats what I'm goin through to you, trust its not. I know I make some good shit. I ain't had to make anybody like my music yet. I know i make some good shit and i just wanna share my gift withe the rest of the world. In the process I wanna put on for my city and my state and really bring us back to where i believe we are supposed to be. And thats on top.

The bay is constantly getting yanked from, our style, our SLANG are consistently being displayed with the next artist who isn't even from out here. But we ain't got no representation to make our shit look how its supposed to. We got E-40 an Too Short, I love 40 and short, but they too old, they a decade ago, niggas out here ain't slappin they shit no mo. I ain't hatin, I'm really just tellin it like it is, I grew up on them, but they ain't puttin on for us right, shit 40 ain't even puttin on for vallejo right, he always ridin oakland nuts, he wanna do every video an talk about hella shit that go on in Oakland. Fuck it, I said so what. I don't care who read it. I'm only saying whats on everybody's mind. REAL TALK! You can ask any youngsta walkin the streets in the bay. And tell me if I'm lyin.

ST Spittin: Monsters Ink - Its been a long time

ST Spittin: Monsters Ink - Its been a long time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Fbh5FGbOVM

Monsters Ink - Its been a long time

Thats that Monsters Ink... Plane Jane, Rossi, Davonna Lee, B Younger & ST Spittin, Flyyy and Chris R.O.C. (Chris R.O.C is the newest member of Monsters Ink so he is not in the picture to the left but he is just as much as apart of this cohesive unit as anyone else. With a unique  combination of 2 artists from Oakland, 3 artists from Richmond and 2 artists from San Francisco, we undeniably represent "The New Bay," We represent the dawn of the "Hybrid artists" Artist who maintain the wisdom and older teaching of Hip Hop & R&B, artists who follow the basics of making great music while still managing to bridge the gap between good and great music. Artists who can rap, sing, write R&B and Rap songs, produce beats, shoot/edit video, photo and web graphics.
We have complete creative control over anything we put together, we market and manage ourselves.  We use the past as a reference but we use it to transcend into the future setting our own trends and letting everyone else follow them. We don't try to keep up with the times of evolution because we naturally mature within our own personal lives, our music, our listeners and the shifting times and events around us.

Monsters Ink is not a gang, we are not a music group. We are a prestigious group of solo artists who have been inducted into Monsters Ink. Its a privilege to be in Monsters Ink, so we don't just let anyone in it unless we feel they are a Monster at whatever it is they do. Reason being, we don't have time to mold artists, we function without any weak links, we only demand great artists, but just because your great doesn't mean you will automatically be inducted into Monsters Ink, we are like a fraternity, a league of extraordinary ladies and gentlemen.

Cocky the message comes off, and on my part yes. But my cockiness is driven by my confidence, which is derived from my skills; what I can do over a beat or off of a beat, what I can write and put into words. I'm not just blowing smoke... There is a method to my madness. Monsters Ink was created in 2008, but established in 2009. Myself and Plane Jane are the mother and father of this Elite all star team, but this team has no coach. We are all Beyonce's, there are no Kelly's or Michelle's, we are all chiefs, no indians. There is no leader of Monsters Ink because we are all leaders.

If your into this article then your probably asking yourself this question," Where is the Music?" Its coming sooner than you think, just be patient. Trust that we will deliver as promised... Everyone is currently working on their solo projects why we are all collectively working on the Monsters Ink project. Look forward to great music, we are not trying to be anything because we are already great at just being ourselves and the music will reflect that.

We welcome anyone who wants to work with us, anyone who wants to just hang out with us, we just be chillin and making music. Light up a blunt and freestyle, or write a song, thats a typical Monsters Ink session. We ain't no bullshitters so we ain't on no bullshit. Of course everyone has a deeper personality, and we are all more than meets thee eye. So unless you know us... You really don't know us, but we want the world to know us and what we are about, we want all of our peers who make music and any fans of good music to know that we are here now, your prayers have been answered. If you got 99 problems with music, we definitely are not going to be one of them.

UNSIGNED ARTISTS, We got outlets!

Myspace, youtube, facebook, twitter, all these websites are outlets for unsigned artists we just have to take advantage and get our grind. Really we can't just sit back and complain, we gotta get out there, but there is help. If you on twitter hit up @FresherThnFresh and @RavenousRaven. These are my twitter fam bam. If you got something to say, some knowledge to drop, they can help you out.

Huge shot out to @Fresher than fresh, they posted on twitter " @FresherThnFresh Recognizes @stspittin As 1 of the Top rappin Propects on the West Coast hit up www.stspittin.blogspot.com 2 learn more!"

But I'm a deliver when the time is ready. One thing is for certain, when somebody believes in your music and they see your drive, they can see something in you that motivates people. They know when someone is being fake and when someone is being real. I am in the process of getting my tracks mixed and mastered, but when its ready, alot of people won't be ready for what they are about to listen to. Hinestly I be on some other shit. I don't say just because it sounds nice. If any of yall feel the same way let me know because we all in this together, there is strength in numbers...

Shot out to the whole Monsters Ink family, we comin, we serious and we know how to make good music and we want everybody to hear it. We confident in ourselves and we want to restore the face of the Bay Area, and make it a hip hop force of nature that it should be... We want to be famous for making good music, I don't need glitz and glamor, as long as I can be known for making hits I can live in a one bedroom shack, (of course if I'm makin hits, I'm makin money) but I know shit happens. We got something real special for yall, ST Spittin, Plane Jane, Rossi, Davonna Lee, B Younger and Flyy; if you don't know, GET FAMILIAR!

Why doesn't the average hood rapper reflect the average hood nigga?

I don't be out here on no tough guy shit, I ain't no bitch ass nigga either so don't get it twisted, but I'm a regular nigga. I'm tryin to bring back "The regular nigga" who raps, there ain't really none left. Either they gangsters, dope boys, jack boys, conscious rappers, or skaters. How come it ain't many rappers who just regular niggas like it is in REAL LIFE. The average nigga done sold drugs, had a regular job, went to college (might of dropped out). I'm talkin about niggas who just smoke weed, drank, party and chill. Niggas who go out every other weekend, got baby mama drama,(or baby daddy drama, I ain't forgot about you ladies). I'm talking about the average hood nigga, but the average rapper ain't never reflecting the average nigga. Why is that?

When I was still dancing actively for the Animaniakz, I remember doing a show at Stanford for the Black Student Union, and while I was there I got to rap for Keak Da Sneak. Now this wasn't my 1st time meeting him, our group had already did hella shit wit him on other occations through my nigga Sean aka Mr. Fantastic (Animaniakz alumni, turf dance legend). I remember he l gave him a verse that was hot (of course) and he liked it, he said I had bars, but he asked me what type of rapper I was trying to be, he was like you trying to be positive, gangster, punchline rapper, party rapper, what? I couldn't answer him at the time because I didn't know. But now if I see him again I can tell him, I'm just trying to do me, I just wanna represent for the regular niggas who are well rounded who can do it all, because I rap about everything regular hood niggas go through along with my own ambitions, dreams, wishes, worry's and so forth, like any other GREAT RAPPER does.

If you look back into hip hop history you see that the successful legendary rappers did it all; they gave you every type of song no matter what the public wanted to hear. They gave you their hottest singles of course to market, but as far as their overall material, you can't look back on any of the legends and say this ain't them, what the hell type a hype is he/she on. Andre 3000 got a lot of flack for his wild wigs and clothes he wore in his video's but nobody ever questioned if he was doin that shit because somebody forced him to. He never sold out.

There is hope though, rappers like Outkast, Drake, Common, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Ludacris, T.I, these rappers give me hope for the future because they keep making great music. Its not really a massive issue, its just that the public is gettin tired of seeing the same type of rapper who raps about the same shit, AND THEY ALL OUT AT THE SAME TIME!

But Don't get it twisted; its more rappers comin who bringin what I CALL real nigga shit back, niggas who can rap about everything from corner to corner, block to block like Bari & J-Roc who can give you some of that shit that make a nigga look in the mirror and ask himself who he really is wit tracks like, " You ain't claim no where" off that " My Otha Brotha" LP, its hot and its in stores, yall go check that out. My nigga Young Sham bringin the pain too, that "Slaughter House" album is bananas! And watch out for yours truly ST Spittin (no official release date on the EP, but look out for the solo project in mid summer). The Monsters Ink compilation is in progress as well...

SHOT OUTS:

Big shot out to Fly, Rossi, B Younger of Bullimic Brains, Davonna Lee, Plane Jane, League 510, Black Smith, Diego Sosa, Chance, J Maine, The whole Knock Em Down Fam, The Smash Brothers, 1 O.A.K, Rawney Yun Shep, Slapnotic Productions Streets is Talking Radio, and if I forgot to mention yo name hit me up and I'll mention it next time.

Yo an another shot out to all my niggas in this entertainment business wit me who tryin to eat; my nigga Kool Jon, Yung Studd, Daghe. Shot out to all my niggas locked up, Fritz, Neto, Marki-Bo I'll see yall when you come home. Fuck wit me

" I'm a changed man/ Past to Present"

"I'm a changed man look at the range man, I gotta whole new game plan, looked and said thats nothin but game Cam, she was right she was all up in the range man." Yall remember that old school "Hey Ma" Killa Cam verse.

I had to kick it off wit that just to set the mood. Yo but niggas be wondering what kind a hype I'm on, they ask me what I'm trying to do in the rap game. I simply tell em, " I'm tryin to do it all." Why settle for less. Man I just saw this nigga Common in "Terminator Salvation" and I was like this is a regular nigga from Chicago who started rappin and now he doin A lister movies, been had platinum albums, got sponsorship from Diesel and Amped, the energy drink. And all this nigga do is DO HIM! He ain't nobody else.

To further my main point, I brought that up about Common because if I want to follow the footsteps of any rapper, this is who I'd like to follow. Anybody who knows me, and truly knows me knows that I've always been a nigga who's been on the under wit everything I've done when it comes to doin dirt. And I'd never incriminate myself, so "ALLEGEDLY" (Mama didn't raise no fools) I've conspired to sell weed, cocaine, boost clothes, and run a few check and credit card scams. "ALLEGEDLY"

(I'll never admit to doing anything I've never been caught for like a lot of rappers consistently do and Feds start holding your own lyrics in your face when they building a case on yo ass) don't think so, you better google Young Jeezy and DMX about that shit if you think I'm lyin.

But moving forward, I've dabbled in this and that and I could go the quote on quote classic hustler route if I wanted to, but I've never been know for that because I've always stayed out of everybody's business. Now I'm a "Changed man". ( I know a lot of my family and friends are laughin they ass off right now reading this), but for real for real, I'm focused on this rap shit real hard and I don't want know bullshit charges being put on me, I don't even want that type of heat on my ass. I'm a Polar Bear, I gots to stay cold. (North Oakland Biatch!)

Niggas wanna know what I'm about so I'm a tell yall; My real name is Sterling Lee Avery, born in San Francisco, raised in Oakland, at 12 I moved to Hayward, and at 16 I moved back to Oakland, I graduated from Oakland Tech and I been puttin on for my city since I could even speak Oakland. I graduated from Merritt College ( Home of the Black Panther Party) I transfered to Cal State East Bay where I currently attend majoring in multimedia (a black man wit a education). I be chillin, I blow a blunt to the sky from time to time, I party, I like chillin wit my daughter, goin to the movies all the time, shopping, making great music about shit I'm doin, shit I've been through, shit I wanna do, and the shit I think about (I be on some other shit). You can find me the Bay from Oakland to Richmond, San Francisco to Hayward and sometimes Vallejo. I travel through many hoods because I know alot of hood niggas.I'm welcomed outta love that I got for niggas, and the love niggas got for me, because any nigga who know me know what I'm about... I started rappin 2 years ago, my nigga Marki-Bo from Acorn gave me the name ST, and my nigga Cory Grayson put the Spittin part on it on accident, I just took it and went wit it. I'm on this music shit tough! I fucks wit whoever wanna fucks wit me.

I just wanna be successful like Drake say, I just briefed yall on some of my past, I dabble into it more on a song I got called " Past to Present" featuring Frisco's own J -Roc who is affiliated wit Young Bari. Plane Jane did the beat. Its a little darker than most tracks I've recorded but its me, at least its one of the many subjects I touch on. Its a manifestation of the shit I've seen and lived through... More importantly, ITS HOT
So I ain't worried about a nigga tryin to pull my card, because most niggas can't find it, and I'm the type a nigga who will read it for you...

BAY AREA WAKE UP! KNOW YOUR WORTH!

What's the deal with everybody wanting some involvement with the Bay, Northern California, 510-415. Its really plain and simple. We are the only region that isn't represented in the music industry, but at the same time we got just as much charisma as Atlanta, LA, New York etc... But the only difference with us is that we have no entertainers who have put on for us in a way that the world would know our story.

We are nothing like LA. Its like a completely different state honestly. I mean much love to LA but they even know its completely different. They rep west coast, and Cali... We don't. We way more territorial. Nobody out here reps the Bay, Bay niggas rep they city and they side, even deeper they rep they street. But at the same time we hella laid back and we fuck wit everybody who fuck wit us. We show every artist love and they see that when they come out here.

My fellow Monsters Ink Fam Bam B Younger had an interview with Young Jeezy and Jeezy told him that he love the Bay, he said he fucks wit the deep East. Jeezy said the Bay got the historical foundation, the reputation and the respect, but we not represented right. That nigga ain't even from the Bay and he know our problem lookin from the outside in.

Artists love it out here, Jeezy love it, Birdman, Young Jock love it, NELLY MADE A SONG ABOUT US AND HE FROM ST. LOUIS, thats love right there, buts thats sad that we don't have nobody on that mainstream level who can put on for us who can compete with all the headliners. Rick Ross's "Magnificent" he said " In memory of Shakur Boss GOTTA SHOUT OAKLAND" Lil Wayne shot us out on Outkast's "Hollywood Divorce" he said " I'd really wish we'd take it back like hammer's home" Of course we know MC Hammer is from Oakland!

We need some representation, we like that big brother that everybody wanna fuck wit. We got the best weed, we got game out the ass, our hood mentality is so different from anyone else's. We got a style of dance that is some hood shit, that ain't hollywood divorced and we done beat Memphis, LA twice, and New York. T - Pain got blessed by the Animaniakz on his dancing, my nigga Rawney literately taught T - Pain how to turf dance. He love us, Lil John and the East side boys, love us! Lil Scrappy Love us. All the artists love us and we have no representation, They all can't wait till we got somebody on. They can't wait till we can tell our story.

You don't have be from New York to know about Madison square garden, Rucker Park, Marcy Projects or Queensbridge because New York rappers have told that story. They have painted a picture so vivid that everyone from around the world knows whats going on in New York, we are familiar with what they do. We know about the Velvet room in ATL, run and shoot, they style of dance, Body Tap, and the trap because all they rappers have put on for ATL. Same with LA or Miami. But not the same for Oakland, Frisco, Richmond or the whole damn bay on that note.

Everybody just think we get hyphy and they know about Oscar Grant gettin killed by the bart police and the police getting killed by that civilian shortly after that. We got recognition for the tons of weed we import and export and for the homicide rate and horrible police department. Basically we are known for all the wrong reasons, and we are not known for the right ones. We got legends out here. Dwayne Wiggins, Rafaela Saddique , Spice 1, En Vogue, Fly and Tone who do choreography for Michael Jackson, Usher and Chris Brown. We got so much talent out here right now that is under the radar because of our predecessors, the kats who had they time to shine still think they shining, when in reality they light bulb has started dimming.

There was a time when we should of had the spot light when Bay music and Northern California in general was at its all time best; We had 3X Krazy, The Luniz, Too Short, E-40 and the Click, Dru Down, RBL Posse, Mac Mall, Steady Mobbin, Mac Dre, C-Bo, Killa Tay, San Quinn, JT the Bigga Figga, MASTER P, Digital Underground, TUPAC! And all these artists were at the fore front at the same time. We didn't even want to listen to anything else because we had our local celebrities who made great music. We should of had the spot light then because we were deeper than all the Miami kats, We were takin over. I don't know what happened to us, we used to be beautiful...

Its a new Bay with new YOUNG artists who know how to make good music, new dancers( Animaniakz, Arciteckz, Turf Fiends) who are seasoned who have worked with Fergi, E-40, Lil Jon, Mista Fab, Snoop Dogg and Too Short. Battled and destroyed Memphis Buckin dancers who were in the Three 6 mafia videos, and the whole cast from "Rise" You know tight eyes an them. The Oakland vs Brooklyn Battle, Oakland won, again... like we always do. By the way this was judged by Buddah Stretch, MC Hammer and Mr. Wiggles, google them please if you don't know.( You know I gotta put on for my dancers, Animaniak/ Arciteck Alumni Baby).

We got Streets is talkin radio hosted by D Nastee and Beejus(great artist my nigga Beejus). Thats our underground outlet that plays our music and interviews our artists in the bay on the rise. Fresh Steps at the Lukas Lounge, thats our platform and our place to perform. And it ain't no bullshit, we talkin packed house with great music. Monsters Ink (Plane Jane, Rossi & Davonnal Lee, B Younger Fly and yours truly ST Spittin). Mike G, League 510, Chance, 1OAK. these are just a few of the names on the bill. But in general if I haven't mentioned them already we got The Diligentz, Erk da Jerk, Bullimic Brains, Familiete, Diego Sosa, Young Bari & J Roc, Teffy, Fly Boy Chapp, Rawney & Young Shep, The whole Knock em Down Fam Bam. Beat Roc, Ayriana the Pack, Ruben Stunna, the whole Livewire camp...

I mean the list really goes on for days. But we makin music, and we makin moves. Hip Hop needs us just as bad as we need them, because right now we undiscovered territory. Few have ventured into our lands and they like what they see so they tell others about it... We just need some artists to clarify and misleading perceptions or what have you. We need our time on the BET and MTV count downs, but we comin so get ready. A new wave is about to drown out a whole lot of bullshit, and we the new generation that had to sit and watch the hyphy movement take us under, WE AIN'T MAKIN THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE ...

Keep it, On the real! Who are the "Real Niggas" now?

Real, real real. Everybody is real now adays it seems. But what defines a "real nigga." Do you have to move white and pull straps on the lames in the hood who checkin for yo stash. I'm just fuckin around, that sounded like something a old white man making fun of a hood nigga would say. But on some real shit, the definition of a real nigga has been tweaked a tad bit. I've always known a real nigga to be a leader, doing what he wanted to do not what anyone made him/her do. Now there is nothing wrong with street niggas, dope boys what have you, we have all did a little dirt, sold a little bit of this or that, or have we? Most niggas be frontin, and they got a best friend who get down and they play witness to they life and write about it, and they know they patna who really pushin shit gonna vouch for them; this shit really happens.

But niggas be killin me talking about they married to the streets. The streets is foul, the streets talk about you, set you up. I mean its some love amongst street niggas but everyones a criminal and you can never really trust a criminal. I'm not necessarily condoning bubbling off some street hustle but you do what you gotta do when yo back is against the wall, I personally would suggest doin ya dirt by the lonely, because their ain't no unconditional love in the streets. Why would you wanna marry that bitch. I mean money do come quick when you established with some type of cliental, but every nigga ain't Frank Lucas. Get real! The streets talk about you, they love you when you up, and don't wanna be around you when you down. And as soon as you do something good, the street niggas are the 1st to tell you that you ain't shit and you ain't no better than anyone else who in the streets. Who wanna be married to the streets? And what kills me even more is that niggas trying to make it off the streets, and when they get on and start rappin, niggas might be in the hood still, but you ain't in that shit as much as you used to be when you get a rap deal. (Unless you still on some street shit and you always gettin arrested and caught up wit the law and the same ol street niggas). Which so many rappers get involved with AFTER THE RECORD DEAL. Honestly I think niggas start doin alot of the bullshit after they get a deal just so they can live up to their own false reputation.

There is more than one definition of a street nigga. You got street niggas who sale everything under the sun and grind all day and night, but you would never know it because they keep to they self and they keep a low profile and they get they money wit out nobody even second guessing that they involved wit some street shit. I call those smart street niggas,

These niggas know that this street shit is only temporary, they know the streets don't love you. They know the streets is the same nigga who took most of yo patnas and changed alot of yo best friends and loved ones mostly for the worse. These the niggas I always looked up to; the niggas who can make the same amount of money as the street niggas you see high sidin all the time, sellin the same product in the same neighborhood, but WITHOUT THE SAME REPUTATION OR SAME HEAT as the average street nigga.

Niggas gotta be smart about shit, why would you want everybody to know that you do something illegal that you make yo money off of. That makes street niggas jealous, smart niggas watch you and set up a scame to ketch you slippin, and the police know you as a house hold hood name. Why any nigga wit a illegal hustle want that type of heat...

I believe Beanie Segal said it best" How you gonna keep it real when everything around you is real already... " So what are you holding on to, what reality are you keeping since everything already is what it is.

Now these youngsta's are looking up to the "real niggas" they see on tv who don't even be doin half the shit they talk about. that shit don't help these lil niggas, they see that shit and believe thats what it is. Why is it hood niggas make videos about shit that never happens in the hood, I ain't never scene so many video chicks in one spot all on one nigga for 3 1/2 minutes at a time on any given day. Niggas be frontin hard.

Man do you, be ya self, niggas got different circumstances, because every nigga can't rap about they reality because it can incriminate they present status, those are smart niggas, but these niggas out here doin what they do and rappin about it! You snitchin on ya self dawg, you need some get right.

TURF DANCING SEASON IS ABOUT TO START!

Aye yall, its bout to get hot again and any nigga from the bay know its dancing season. So I'm a kick off the season wit some dialogue.

Arciteckz, Animaniakz alumni. Arciteckz A team, and Original Animaniak. I can't speak for whats going on now but the Animaniakz I was on was undefeated, we done took some losses now. But its all good, much love to the whole turf dance world, shot out to the Turf Fiends, No Sympathy, Sick wit It Main Event (Richmond and New York). When they gonna start giving the bay our respect. We beat LA 2wice, Memphis, New York. We got Budda Stretch (choreographer for Michael Jackson's infamous " Remember the time" video) showing us mad love check out the link stspittinhttp://bit.ly/S9Zs4.

But on another note, some rappers wanna be hard and deny the shit they used to do because it tarnishes their image, fuck that, I danced. Shit Tupac was a background dancer for digital underground; on "tupac resurrection" this nigga was in speedos humpin blowup dolls on stage. P Diddy background danced too. I don't deny shit, I guess I'm a be one a them rappers who just got that natural rhythm, In my video's I'm a fuck wit it just like big Daddy Kane used to, or Mase. One thing everyone gotta realize is that its still entertainment. When niggas try go deny their past it comes out anyway so just keep it solid or you can get Rick Rossed! Much love to Rick though, his music is amazing, when I say Rick Rossed, I mean somebody is always gonna be doin they home work on you so just do you and don't deny shit, regardless of how embarrassing you might think it is.

I'm from Oakland where fuckin wit it was never on no bitch ass shit. More of the thug niggas turf danced than anybody. Reason being, you was reppin yo turf, it wasn't as personal as say crip walking, but you couldn't be no bitch ass J- Kat because niggas is in yo face reppin they turf while disrespecting yours along wit all they niggas and all of yo niggas. On some real, most square niggas who could fuck wit it didn't even get in the circle because they didn't want everything that came wit the territory.

Now we got youtube turfers! these niggas water down all the basic foundation of the whole style of hittin it, fuckin wit it, TURF DANCING! Its like we getting hollywood divorced.

I rep my city and everything I've done for it. WE go! get at me and tell me what you think.

North's Oakland's Your Highness?

ST, ST Spittin to be exact, Oakland's Finest North Oakland's your highness. I know this ruffles alot of feathers when everyone hears this but fuck it. Its how I feel, its real simple. I'm from North Oakland and I'm a King. I feel nobody is better than me because thats how any real rapper is supposed to feel. Not necessarily king like I run the streets because I don't.

Mostly all the street niggas I know from the North are deceased, Rest in Peace Stevie Bailey, Rob Benz, Lil Cliff, Andre Foster, free Price! These all the street niggas I've hung around and known from the North.

I'm a artist and I know I'm about to cause a whole lot of ruckus amongst my peers. But shit its really a invitation, I welcome adversity  regarding this subject, because if you feel you the king then prove it. I GOT HITS! I can't wait to drop my project like a overdue pregnant woman.

If I was from the East or West Oakland I would call myself the King of those sides but I'm from the North, and any nigga from Oakland know you gotta be a real nigga to put on for the North because most niggas look at us as the bottom of the barrell.

Basically its like this; I'm a North Oakland King, but I don't wanna be the only one, I'm trying to stimulate competition, because if a nigga is fuckin wit me on this music shit, then he/she must have hits too. And its lonely at the top so I want niggas to get on my level. But niggas out here on the rise. My nigga Ticket is a Beast! Mike G, Mista Fab, Ruben Stunna etc. Its niggas who got heat out here. I bet they feel like Kings too, what real nigga making music wouldn't, unless you think you ain't got what it takes.

Don't take it as I'm a cocky asshole, I'm just real confident (and kinda cocky, I can't help it I'm from the North, geographical we on top of the town). My confidence is something different though, my confidence is like a confidence on steriods. But its a method to my madness, because if you knew the music I was sitting on you would be just as vocal about yourself. I'm a leader not a follower, a KING not a pawn. Niggas need to start planting they own seed, because truthfully it don't matter where you from, it matters what you do where ever you at...
