I don't know if yall heard but, its alot of good music circulating on these bay area streets. Niggas steppin they shit up out here. People always quick to hate on the next nigga and talk down " you rappin too." How many times have you heard that? Thats because nobody out here is supportive of anybody. Mostly everybody out here is quick to say what you can't do, and even quicker to dis yo shit when you ask them to listen to what you got. And THEN when they like it, they say, " yeah thats nice but, I like so an so better because he on the radio and everybody be slappin they shit." Does that sound familiar? And the fucked up part about it is, usually these are yo own patnas or relatives that are saying this. 

But of course when niggas hear the next nigga who don't know you slappin yo shit, they feel hella stupid because everybody but them, is up on game. Niggas gon come the easy way or the hard way. My advice, just do you and watch everyone jump on yo tip ( thats only if you nice, if you hella weak, master yo craft 1st, then convince people that you nice. )And stop giving a fuck about what people got to say to you when you know you nice. 

If it sounds like thats what I'm goin through to you, trust its not. I know I make some good shit. I ain't had to make anybody like my music yet. I know i make some good shit and i just wanna share my gift withe the rest of the world. In the process I wanna put on for my city and my state and really bring us back to where i believe we are supposed to be. And thats on top.

The bay is constantly getting yanked from, our style, our SLANG are consistently being displayed with the next artist who isn't even from out here. But we ain't got no representation to make our shit look how its supposed to. We got E-40 an Too Short, I love 40 and short, but they too old, they a decade ago, niggas out here ain't slappin they shit no mo. I ain't hatin, I'm really just tellin it like it is, I grew up on them, but they ain't puttin on for us right, shit 40 ain't even puttin on for vallejo right, he always ridin oakland nuts, he wanna do every video an talk about hella shit that go on in Oakland. Fuck it, I said so what. I don't care who read it. I'm only saying whats on everybody's mind. REAL TALK! You can ask any youngsta walkin the streets in the bay. And tell me if I'm lyin.

Thats that Monsters Ink... Plane Jane, Rossi, Davonna Lee, B Younger & ST Spittin, Flyyy and Chris R.O.C. (Chris R.O.C is the newest member of Monsters Ink so he is not in the picture to the left but he is just as much as apart of this cohesive unit as anyone else. With a unique  combination of 2 artists from Oakland, 3 artists from Richmond and 2 artists from San Francisco, we undeniably represent "The New Bay," We represent the dawn of the "Hybrid artists" Artist who maintain the wisdom and older teaching of Hip Hop & R&B, artists who follow the basics of making great music while still managing to bridge the gap between good and great music. Artists who can rap, sing, write R&B and Rap songs, produce beats, shoot/edit video, photo and web graphics. 

We have complete creative control over anything we put together, we market and manage ourselves.  We use the past as a reference but we use it to transcend into the future setting our own trends and letting everyone else follow them. We don't try to keep up with the times of evolution because we naturally mature within our own personal lives, our music, our listeners and the shifting times and events around us.

Monsters Ink is not a gang, we are not a music group. We are a prestigious group of solo artists who have been inducted into Monsters Ink. Its a privilege to be in Monsters Ink, so we don't just let anyone in it unless we feel they are a Monster at whatever it is they do. Reason being, we don't have time to mold artists, we function without any weak links, we only demand great artists, but just because your great doesn't mean you will automatically be inducted into Monsters Ink, we are like a fraternity, a league of extraordinary ladies and gentlemen. 

Cocky the message comes off, and on my part yes. But my cockiness is driven by my confidence, which is derived from my skills; what I can do over a beat or off of a beat, what I can write and put into words. I'm not just blowing smoke... There is a method to my madness. Monsters Ink was created in 2008, but established in 2009. Myself and Plane Jane are the mother and father of this Elite all star team, but this team has no coach. We are all Beyonce's, there are no Kelly's or Michelle's, we are all chiefs, no indians. There is no leader of Monsters Ink because we are all leaders. 

If your into this article then your probably asking yourself this question," Where is the Music?" Its coming sooner than you think, just be patient. Trust that we will deliver as promised... Everyone is currently working on their solo projects why we are all collectively working on the Monsters Ink project. Look forward to great music, we are not trying to be anything because we are already great at just being ourselves and the music will reflect that. 

We welcome anyone who wants to work with us, anyone who wants to just hang out with us, we just be chillin and making music. Light up a blunt and freestyle, or write a song, thats a typical Monsters Ink session. We ain't no bullshitters so we ain't on no bullshit. Of course everyone has a deeper personality, and we are all more than meets thee eye. So unless you know us... You really don't know us, but we want the world to know us and what we are about, we want all of our peers who make music and any fans of good music to know that we are here now, your prayers have been answered. If you got 99 problems with music, we definitely are not going to be one of them.

But I'm a deliver when the time is ready. One thing is for certain, when somebody believes in your music and they see your drive, they can see something in you that motivates people. They know when someone is being fake and when someone is being real. I am in the process of getting my tracks mixed and mastered, but when its ready, alot of people won't be ready for what they are about to listen to. Hinestly I be on some other shit. I don't say just because it sounds nice. If any of yall feel the same way let me know because we all in this together, there is strength in numbers...

We confident in ourselves and we want to restore the face of the Bay Area, and make it a hip hop force of nature that it should be... We want to be famous for making good music, I don't need glitz and glamor, as long as I can be known for making hits I can live in a one bedroom shack, (of course if I'm makin hits, I'm makin money) but I know shit happens.
